Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

When trying to sign into my account the app crashes, I've tried clearing the cache and checking for updates.

This is definitely hacky if it works, but on the web interface settings try setting your default sort to "hot" or anything other than "active".

Looks like it's a server vs client mismatch issue. Jerboa 0.0.35 is rolling out and when your server rolls out 0.18 of lemmy this should get worked out. It's a bummer though!

Downloading the apk directly from github fixed this issue for me.

This is happening to me as well. Interestingly it's only on certain instances. I have multiple accounts and some of them log in just fine.

Uninstall Jerboa and then download the most recent apk file from GitHub here https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/releases/tag/0.0.35

That fixed this issue for me.
