This is definitely hacky if it works, but on the web interface settings try setting your default sort to "hot" or anything other than "active".

Still crashing.
Looks like it's a server vs client mismatch issue. Jerboa 0.0.35 is rolling out and when your server rolls out 0.18 of lemmy this should get worked out. It's a bummer though!
Downloading the apk directly from github fixed this issue for me.
This is happening to me as well. Interestingly it's only on certain instances. I have multiple accounts and some of them log in just fine.
Uninstall Jerboa and then download the most recent apk file from GitHub here https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/releases/tag/0.0.35
That fixed this issue for me.
