This is the best summary I could come up with:

Tamieka Brittnee, who became homeless in May shortly after her 27th birthday, said she had been pelted with eggs and called "scum" and a "filthy animal" by people passing her tent in Woody Point.

The Woody Point Action Group has been lobbying Moreton Bay Regional Council and the state government to remove homeless people from the suburb.

A CoreLogic post-pandemic affordability report found that since March 2020, Moreton Bay North house rents had increased 35.8 per cent, to a median of $571 per week.

Mr Smith said he started living in his ute last Christmas and had been unable to find an affordable rental since, due to  skyrocketing costs.

Moreton Bay councillor Karl Winchester said in a statement that the council had implemented a range of initiatives for the region's homeless.

"While it is important that there is compassion from government during this housing crisis, it is equally valid that public safety and amenity be upheld," Cr Winchester said.
