BIG Lorax energy

[–] ikapoz@sh.itjust.works 47 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Joke’s on you. That’s an owl.

[–] sag@lemm.ee 16 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) (1 children)

Wait. Really? I thought it's a hairy capybara

[–] WhiskyTangoFoxtrot@lemmy.world 5 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It's an octopus. Octopuses look however they want to look.

[–] Pat_Riot@lemmy.today 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

No that's chameleons. Octopuses have 8 sides.

[–] Lophostemon@aussie.zone 28 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It’s pretty clearly a cog.

Or perhaps a dat.

My brain autocorrected both of those and went "oh look, someone hasn't gotten the joke and thinks is funny to tell it but badly"...

[–] teamevil@lemmy.world 4 points 9 months ago

Did the same thing

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 4 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago)

I honestly prefer it when my brain autoincorrects things. Much more entertaining!

I get Dark Crystal Aughra energy

I have one of those!

[–] Aleric@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

Aughra had bigger, disturbing puppet knockers.

I want to see this friend in a studio Ghibli movie. The expressions he would have as shenanigans take place around him

And definitely a cat nose

[–] FooBarrington@lemmy.world 0 points 9 months ago

And the angery expression

in my expert opinion this is just a little guy

[–] MargotRobbie@lemmy.world 16 points 9 months ago

I think this is actually a cat that's pretending to be a dog. Like a cat actor. Or Ca-ctor.

But it's fine, because on the Internet, nobody knows you are a dog.

[–] jordanlund@lemmy.world 11 points 9 months ago

"Do you have a dog or a cat?"

Yes!

While I totally appreciate a The Labyrinth reference, I'm afraid that this is a Fizzgig from The Dark Crystal.

Either that or a feral Lorax named Wilford Brimley.

Edit: Also this exists:

That's just animal abuse on some level. My dogs hate anything that makes them warmer. Hell, they only sleep with me for a little bit, and then choose the floor cause my average temperature is 100.5°F so cats love cuddling me, but I'm way too warm for dogs or most humans. Dogs don't sweat though so heat management is rather important for their survival, unlike us.

Canis familiaris

[–] Donjuanme@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Never seen a cat with eyebrows like that, I am going to say dog

[–] AngryCommieKender@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago

That's totally a cat that's hiding it's tail. The pupils are slitted not round.

Either that or a Lorax

[–] Destraight@lemm.ee 0 points 9 months ago (1 children)

You really gonna post a dog picture on cat instance? You're fucking stupid
