Can't make an account on lemmy.world or lemmy.ml?
Everytime I try it just spins indefinitely. Any ideas?

Do you already have an account lemmy.world? I had the same happen when I tried to create 2nd account. It seems to be IP locked to 1 account. Which is fine, but give some sort of error.

lemmy.ml servers are half dead, so it might be just temporary issues.

You don't ahve to be on the biggest instance to iteract with them, look at others https://lemmyverse.net.

@BrikoX okay so I could register an account on another instance. And then still be able to incorporate local and all feeds similarly to lemmy.world but off of Lemmy.whateverinstance? Thanks

I'm pretty sure that's correct, now that I poke around at other Lemmy instances. Cheers

Edit: just made an account on lemmy.one pending approval

Yes. As long as nobody defederated your instance you will see what they post and it will show up in your All feed.

Registration on lemmy.ml is closed.

On World you should make sure that the Password is max 20 characters

@mirisbowring ah okay. I didn't see it say anything about registration being closed. But I'll try .world with a longer password. Cheers.
