Ukrainian defenders decorated a Christmas tree at the frontline near Bakhmut, Donetsk regionπŸŽ„

Let this tree be the symbol of Ukrainian resilience. Thanks to our warriors fighting back against the Russian occupiers, Ukrainians can enjoy everyday things and do their part to bring our victory closer πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ πŸ™

It's a New Year's tree. Orthodox Christmas is later in the year but Slavs celebrate New Year's with similar traditions to US Christmas.

It's Russian Christmas, which is later in the year. Most Orthodox Christian countries, including Ukraine, celebrate it earlier, on the same day as the US.
