Ah yes, another opportunity to make a good live action adaptation of an anime for Netflix to kill.
I hope that it will be just good enough to read the story proper.
Funny how my mind expected the worst for Zoro and best for Nami, and the trailer comes out and Zoro looks perfect and Nami looks like a bad wig.
No matter the train wreck this may be, looks like the actors and cast are giving it their all and it shows, can't wait until August.
Risky move here. My wife is a huge fan of the series. She has watched every episode at least twice. I tried to get started and made it through the 1st couple of arks. But this show alone as over 1000 episodes not including manga. .
But wife thinks it might be okay since the creator okayed this show and they had to get his approval on each episode. We will see. Looks good to me hope its good.
This does not look good. This looks like a low-budget kids' movie from 1998. When Luffy finally stretched out his arm at the end it really did just look like somebody stretched it out in photoshop and called it a day. The fucking Fantastic Four movie from 20 years ago did a better job with Mr Fantastic's limbs than this.
I don't have a good feeling about this, but then I never do. Probably better idea to allocate that live action money to anime instead.
