I wish we could have more animated Avatar stories than a live action remake.
Considering what Nickelodeon did to Legend of Korra I'm pretty sure they just hate the franchise for some reason.
The "problem" with Korra for a lot of casual/incidental viewers is this latter group of people wanted more Avatar: The Last Airbender, not Korra.
This isn't to say Korra is a bad piece of work, but what people anticipated and expected was not what people got, and yet it was treated to meet or exceed the expectations set by TLA.
I like the casting, but I standard have very low expectations of Netflix. It can only get better if you expect nothing (and I was really pleasantly surprised by Sandman, so who knows). Here's hoping the lack of actual footage is due to the writers' strike. But if not, we still got the amazing original to fall back to.
Absolutely nothing. So much for a "first look"
Still sceptical since the creators left the project. It looks ok, but not lived in and weathered. That is the same issue I had with the Rings of Power and Wheel of Time.
They look good, but since the creators left the project, I have zero confidence in the show
There was nothing to see
