Try clicking in “subscribe pending” to undo the request, then click in “subscribe” again. It worked for me with some communities from lemmy.ml
A few instances have defederated some of the instances with open reg or spam problems because they are getting overwhelmed
I just found it by searching for embedded_prog - but have the same Subscribe Pending. I think it's a bug they are working on.
Still wondering about the search not working.
I can't reach them at the moment. Is their server down, prehaps?
