Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.

Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

Hi,

I'd be super happy if Jerboa featured a native way to tag users in a thread or even hashtags of the expanded fediverse. Is there currently a way to do that and I just missed it? For an example of what I mean, I'll refer to the Reddit Enhancement Suite on Desktop.

Say I want to reply to two users in a thread in the same comment. I'll reply to user A's post so they get a notification, but I also want to make sure user B also sees my comment. I start typing /u/user and RES automatically gives ma a drop-down list to Auto complete of all the users populating this thread that match what I've started to type out. In this case, RES suggests a drop down list of

  • userB
  • userC
  • userD

I click on userB and hit send on my comment. Now both user A and user B receive a notification.

Is that possible? And if so, could we apply the same logic to hashtags in the fediverse or Mastodon to begin with?

That would be good, I'm using Jerboa here too and can't tag anyone.
