In my experience, middle management is where a lot of shit is perpetuated. Line management and workers know where the shit is, upper management has the power to change it, but middle management needs shit in order to justify its existence

I agree. However, getting rid of middle management isn't what Musk did to Twitter (at least... it's not the only thing he did). But it's interesting that that's the narrative that Zuck is pushing.
