What? FUCK.
It feels like the fact that I didn't know that says a lot about how much I don't have my shit together.
Apparently they just announced it
Looks like it's to push credit karma onto folks but with no budgeting features :/
Credit Karma does not currently provide budgeting features the same way that Mint has in the past.
Credit Karma also doesn't have bill tracking, which is the main feature I use with Mint. It's just a fucking credit score tool lol.
You give YNAB a shot?
I'm actually trying PocketGuide, just started the 7 day trial. I'm really impressed so far, it seems better than Mint and the annual price is only $35 (which isn't free, but it's cheaper than most of the alternatives). I plugged in all my checking and credit card accounts and it's working great. It already told me that I'm spending too much money and I need to re-do my budget. 😂
It has a free version but you can only plug in two accounts so it's pretty useless (unless two is enough for you).
so you just like cant use it all of a sudden now after it shuts down? why are people using personal finance services instead of desktop applications?? thats not something you can just switch off with little effort
We're all broke.
A university maybe had students make a budgeting app. When done they might post it on fdroid?
Yeah, helped test out my friend's money management app some months ago. Really must be a university thing
Are they all legit?
Would be interesting of you spot any good ones to let me know. Im particularly interested in this topic at the moment.
This one looks promising especially if the dev adds this feature I requested. It is written in Dart.
Yeah .. Ive installed it from F-droid. I am interested to have a chat to the developers.
