To add, when using wowthislemmyexists opening the links to different subs opens them in the browser, not in jerboa as a community
Making this change would make it a lot easier to navigate/find new communities to join
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.
Jerboa is made by Lemmy's developers, and is free, open-source software, meaning no advertising, monetizing, or venture capital, ever. Your donations directly support full-time development of the project.

I would love to see the functionality of RIF in a Lemmy app
I would really love a dialog informing me of the link destination before I get sent there. I'm used to such a thing from RiF so it was a nasty shock to see a wiki page on child molestation pop up when I tapped an innocuously titled link.
I'd like an option to always open in external browser, like RIF has. Now that's an extra click each time.
People have different ways on browsing. In my case I do not want my default browser in app which usually contains all my password, cache and sensitive stuff, potentially open a malicious link. In boost for reddit which I used it had an option to keep the default browser clicking right away no need for a modal, but it also had an option to always select a browser you want to use.
