I haven't bought or played a Ubisoft title since they started requiring I sign in to their own separate service to play. I hope all of the talented developers go to work for less garbage companies.

Same. Their DRM is garbage.
100% There are a few companies now that have there own launchers and if they force me to use them I just dont purchase their games.
I only realized this after I bought Riders Republic, and had made my payment. I agree, I won't be purchasing another (plus the game pretty much sucks)
I haven't bought a Ubisoft title since Uplay became a thing, but my husband bought Farcry 6 2 years ago.
Looking at the titles that they have put out, I have come to realize that my stance on Uplay isn't even the main thing keeping me from buying a Ubisoft game; it's the lack of titles that are of interest in several years.
I know it's hard to believe, but I have lived without Assassin's Creed #14, Another Monopoly videogame, and Just Dance #15.

Looking through that list is a trip, I knew Ubisoft produced a lot of farmed out and low quality game sequels, but I had no idea there were this many.
And reading the list, I’d say a solid 75% I’ve either never heard of or I know that they’ve flopped. Not to mention the whole NFT thing they grifted onto. This is why no one wants to buy them. They’re of buyable size, but everyone steers far clear because I’d bet that assassins creed and rainbow six are their only money makers.
It's obviously because the workers got a raise. I was told layoffs ONLY happen when workers get higher wages!
