You might think that things have changed over the years, but I was around in 1995 and I can assure you this looked exactly as ridiculous then as it does now.

According to certain Christian sects, if you don't believe in a god but still live a good and moral life, you'll spend eternity as a side character in the Windows 95 video guide.

The sect near me says heaven is finding out what’s at the end of the Windows 95 maze screensaver.

That’s what happened to Boris. Poor Boris

Sad that Mathew Perry died.

[–] realitista@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

Actually impressive that acting in this POS wasn't what killed him.

[–] UndefinedIsNotAFunction@programming.dev 22 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Oh I definitely remember this. Completely forgot about it

[–] ubermeisters@lemmy.world 17 points 1 year ago

Hope you are ready to see every bit of mediocre acting Matthew Perry had done

I could not make it through much of it, but I can certainly confirm that it has Windows 95 in perhaps it's greatest acting performance of it's career.

Getting uncomfortably close to the Seinfeld bass riff @ 1:58

It's a synthesizer! I only found out last week when my bass playing coworker corrected me.

Ah, didn’t know that. Giorgio would be so disappointed in us 😔

Wow, it's pretty shocking that they would allow themselves to be seen in something this terrible. I guess this was before Friends had taken off.

It's been so long since I used Windows 95 that I forgot it looked like that. I thought it was Windows 3.1 at first, but that was even more primitive!

Should I mention it?

!Its Cringe!<
