He did not land on a solid surface, because if he had landed on a solid surface from a height of 30 feet, he would have broken every bone in his body and died.
Also, I imagine that rescue dogs are trained to notify their handles and wait for orders not just jump out of moving vehicles when they smell someone in distress. Quite some reasons you don't want dogs just running around on their own in catastrophic zones.
30 dog feet or human feet? How high is that?
Maybe he jumped into the water? Dunno, 30 feet is a high fall
Sounds like he dove into floodwater if it was from a helicopter. Would've been a ground vehicle if the streets weren't flooded.
Can a dog jump down 30 feet without injury? Mine will pop out a knee getting off the couch wrong…kinda like me.
i am asking the same question and i seriously doubt that... imho 30 feet jump has to be guaranteed broken legs, as a minimum.
Most people are pretty bad at estimating distances, it was probably less than 30.
He's the bestest boy
What a dumb dog, thought he was going to get a treat for that move LOL
You think 10 feet into the fall he realized what a badass stupid idea he just pulled?
Helicopter was on the ground, but the dog was so excited they jumped in and out several times with their handler finally also jumping out on the 7th time. 30 feet.
