I tried both and I feel like Wildlands is better. The world is very alive and expansive, plus the movement feels better. Something feels very clunky about breakpoint's movement. Oh, and I enjoyed Wildlands' primary enemies quite a bit more than Breakpoint. Wildlands does a good job of letting you SEE just how depraved the Sicarios are and their effects on the world.

Wildlands. Breakpoint isn't crap, but Wildlands is just superior. It got more soul at least. BP seemed like a rushed "it worked, let's do it again!". From a mostly single-player PoV
Wildlands is way better!
Another vote for wildlands. I just couldn’t get into breakpoint as much as I did wildlands.
Wildlands is still a great game. It is set in 2019 Bolivia, you work to take down cartels one region at a time. It's fun both singleplayer and co-op for up to 4 players.
Breakpoint is set on some semi-futuristic Elon Musk type fantasy technology island with drones driving and flying around. The map itself is large and varied, it seems like a South Pacific type environment. Breakpoint initially did a lot of things worse than Wildlands, such as not having AI squadmates and needing to level up your weapons. But since then the game has been updated with a lot of options to fix almost everything, and even add a lot more content. It's a lot to get used to but ultimately still a lot of fun.
But first play Wildlands, it is fun right away, and more realistic overall.
Definetly Wildlands!
I really wish they had put out a 60fps patch for Wildlands.
I actually like them both, honestly. They are different games, and Breakpoint by the end (when I started playing it) really wasn’t that bad. The setting was maybe just kind of un-inspired.
Overall Wildlands is probably the better game, for sure, though.
Honestly both are great, just different experiences.
Wildlands is arguably a lot more fleshed out. The story feels a lot more cohesive, the gameplay is very solid, the sniping is much better (the draw distance for enemies in Breakpoint is a lot lower making long range shots impossible). Wildlands also has an awesome first person mod on PC, makes it feel like one of the OG ghost recon games.
Breakpoint has a lot more survival elements. Large injuries make you limp, you can hide in the mud, craft medkits and stamina shots, etc. You're also alone on an island and basically everyone is an enemy. Really feels like you're behind enemy lines.
Wildlands is better for experimenting and fooling around, Breakpoint is better for getting immersed and intense gameplay. Just my 2 cents.
Decided to come back to this thread and check on it. Seems Wildlands is the clear winner XD
