I wanted to hit a planeswalker and the creature it created, but this notably hits Fable of the Mirror Breaker, Wedding Announcement, Gruff Triplets, and some other non-walkers.

I'm pretty sure this works under the existing rules and you can "remember" a token's creator, but not 100%.

This is a neat idea. I think it would function as an Alchemy card, where the software could keep track of what had created the token -- in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it already does that. But yeah, for paper play, it would be a nightmare. Was the Mite you're targeting created by this Mirrex, or by that other Mirrex that got Field-of-Ruined a couple of turns ago?

Yeah you're right, it's just too much overhead. The examples below create the tracking requirement when those cards are played, this would require that you always track every token from the start of the game forever.

Could definitely work in Alchemy though.

This almost certainly doesn't function rules wise. Asking players to differentiate what made what specific token is a nightmare. The easy example is someone playing Mogg War Marshall and Sling-gang Lieutenant in the same deck. How do you track which 1/1 red goblins were made by which? Additionally, though completive players would understand this, if you flicker a token maker like the aforementioned Mogg War Marshall, if you hit the old tokens with this then it won't kill the creature because it's a new game object. Plus back to the previous point, how do you differentiate between tokens made by the same card?

Lastly, you don't seem to consider that lands make tokens with regularity and this a 2 mana color pie bend to destroy lands. It should at least include a nonland clause

Great feedback, yeah the nonland qualifier should definitely be there.

I agree the rules are a bit unclear to me but there is at least precedent with remembering tokens. [[Arcane Artisan]] and [[Dual Nature]] are two quick ones I found.

Those two examples only track tokens they created, it's easier to track in paper when the card gives you advance notice. I think for ease of play this card would want to destroy a token that entered the battlefield this turn as otherwise it would be too hard to track.

I like that as a fix but for functionality you'd need to make the card an instant or it'd be mostly unplayable because when are you realistically making tokens on your opponent's turn?

Definitely an instant, I didn't notice that it was a sorcery in the original post
