At this point I'm not sure that Russian soldiers are even taught that surrendering is a thing you can do. So many I've seen in completely unwinnable and imminently fatal situations yet they refuse to surrender to the Ukrainians.

Really? I must've missed it. I did skip ahead a bit after the first 30-45 seconds of running.

They'll need to start issuing shotguns if they want "shoot the drone" to be a viable tactic. Pistols and rifles aren't going to do the job.
It seemed like his strategy of running through the trees in tight circles was successful and might have worked if he hadn't stopped. I guess he got tired, but if he had kept it up for a while longer the drone operator might have screwed up and hit a tree or ran out of battery.
Smart enough to nearly figure out a way to avoid a drone, not smart enough to stay home in his own country.
Let's not willfully ignore how many people are forcefully conscripted into the Russian military.
Is one of those people the guy in the video? Doubtful. Still shouldn't act like it's a simple matter of "just go home 4head".

Maybe that was them giving him the opportunity to surrender? Not sure.
It looks like just one lone solider running around in the middle of nowhere. That may not be the reality, but it's what it looks like. Just a goon being chased by a drone, then dying alone.
"Reptile" is cool & all, but this was definitely a missed opportunity for "Yakkity Sax"
