The Deep End of Horror!

A group of shipwrecked tourists are forced to take refuge in a creepy abandoned beachside hotel, where they are attacked by undead Nazi soldiers who rise from the ocean floor.

Three words: aquatic.. Nazi.. zombies..

Goddam it movie posters used to be so rad

I'm 100% more likely to seek this movie out (which I did before posting) than anything with a bland, modern, hero shot, blue and orange piece of drek poster.

Agreed! This one is brilliant!

It's a decent movie. Really. I've seen much much worse.

@Outtatime @LaurenceWolse I completely agree. The Illuminatus! ripoff aquatic Nazi zombie premise is really the only knock on an otherwise competently made flick that succeeds on its own terms. I thought the part where the marooned heroes are drawn to the record player was a dang fine moment.

This movie has an amazing soundtrack of creepy synths. It has Peter Cushing (who I think only agreed to do it because he got a free vacation in Florida. It also has the older brother from Flipper.

@LaurenceWolse Thanks, that sounds awesome! Reminds me a bit of Dead Snow (2009), which was crazy funny.
