In his response on X, Mr Musk said: "Our policy is that everything is open and transparent, an approach that I know the EU supports. "Please list the violations you allude to on X, so that the public can see them."

So we can pretty much infer what is happening here. They told Musk to take down violating posts. Musk wants them to list the posts publicly so he can have another far-right shitshow where he makes the fucking conflict about him and can pretend to debate. The law does not specify that they need to make the complaint by using the service. They make the complaint by officially filing a complaint. This is not The Elon Show. The timer starts ticking when the complaint is filed. Elon is indicating that he does not intend to comply. Let the chips fall where they may, but I hope this is one of the EU regulations that proportional to the company, not one that costs less than Elon flying his private plane from Austin to Dallas.

The article explicitly mentions Elmo at some length. Only the headline Zucks.

Ok, fair enough then. Thanks for letting me know.

Have all the bigotry and medical disinformation you want, but criticizing israel is where they draw the line.

While your points are valid, the comparison is not. EU has Hamas designated as a terrorist organization, so in comparison to that the actions are the same as with ISIS or Al-Qaida.

And EU did callout Israel for breaking international law, though it's very unlikely they will take any other actions apart from calling them out.

Of course theyre designated as terrorists, theyre fighting back against israel military occupation of their country.

[–] AngrilyEatingMuffins@kbin.social 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Regardless of one’s acceptance or rejection of their status as “freedom fighters” they are absolutely terrorists.

I think the two terms are mutually exclusive. Ukrainian military forces arent terrorists for fighting back against russian military occupation, even when attacking on Russian land it's self defense against the occupation. Gaza is militarily occupied by Israel.

Remember that time when Ukrainian soldiers shot down a few hundred civilians on a music festival? Me neither..

[–] blazera@kbin.social 1 points 1 year ago

All of the attacks have had a common trait, they are all immediately on the Gaza border. Israel has held a military grip on Gazas borders to a degree that is a humanitarian crisis.

[–] AngrilyEatingMuffins@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago (1 children)

They are not mutually exclusive in any way, shape or form. Terrorism and terrorist are descriptors, not moral judgments. Nelson Mandela was a terrorist and a freedom fighter, for instance.

[–] blazera@kbin.social 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Terrorist is a moral judgment which is why you took the time to come here and tell me they are, and why the EU is trying to outlaw speech about them. Military response to military occupation of your country is not terrorism.

Oh, I didn’t realize you were a moron

What medical "disinformation"? Lies like people saying that the vaccine stops covid?

That crunchy sound you hear is him rolling his scaley eyeballs back into his head as hard as he can

[–] TWeaK@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago

The EU said the same to Musk and X.
