Living in privately rented homes linked to faster biological ageing, study finds
(www.theguardian.com)
A sub about trying to live forever - or die trying.
I'm guessing that renters typically engage in other behaviours that accelerate aging as opposed to renting being the cause, cuz that would be totally bonkers.
They engage in being poor
Right, but poverty's still not the direct cause.
Or, crazy thought, buying a house is stupid expensive, and only getting more expensive. So, people rent them instead, in some cases bcz they are actually to poor to buy, and in other cases they just don't have the down payment yet.
Your point doesn't change mine at all, just adds another layer between the cause and effect.
