FIA has set a limit of max 18 laps for new tyre sets in the race today. That means 3 pit stops will be mandatory for each driver. If a driver goes over the limit he will be black flagged.

Regarding used sets, teams are allowed to add two more laps to count for for slower inlaps & outlaps. So if a tyre was used for 5 laps in practice or qualifying you're allowed to run it for 15 more laps in the race. What a sh*tshow.

I wouldn't necessarily blame Pirelli here, I would blame the idiots that put saw tooth curbs that literally slice the tires on this track. This isn't a problem in any other track.
