As a zoomer who watched The Simpsons nonstop with my parents from a young age, I have never once met someone my age who I know to have watched The Simpsons

It's such a culture shock to me. Simpsons references are just an understood conversational staple for gen X and millennials (and even a good portion of the boomers).

Millennial here, I think I've seen maybe 2 episodes of the Simpsons ever. I feel very out of place in a lot of conversations especially at work (for a lot of reasons but this one is particularly noticable)

I'm sure I wouldn't be the first to recommend watching it at this point, but it's a good show.

As someone born in 99', I know we all used to rave about the Simpsons back when the movie came out, and we used to watch the movie in school pretty much every opportunity we could, but after that we pretty much "moved on"...

We are definitely on the edge of gen Z so I'm not sure we count on this, but I definitely have a lot of friends who have seen most of the golden age simpsons episodes

They still listen to Do The Bart-Man though, right?

I got a tape of Simpsons songs for Christmas one year. And yeah that song was on it.

Oh. Well I guess I'll be the first then! I used to watch the Simpsons once a week on I think a Thursday night? Just after everybody loves Raymond. And it was always the classics that were on TV, none of the new stuff. So I've seen just about every episode from seasons 1-15 or so and a small amount of the newer eps

Can't blame them. Simpsons has basically sucked donkey balls their entire life.
