It's hard to enjoy iCarly these days knowing how much strife the show and 'The Creator' caused Jeanette McCurdy.

I thought season one and two were good but the third really felt too much like an overly silly kids show instead of a show catering to adults who enjoyed the original as kids.
While season 3 did not feel as strong as season 2 to me, I'm definitely bummed about this news. It's especially a bummer since they ended on a cliffhanger.
I thought the new additions to the cast (Harper and Millicent) were both great actors and I hope to see them in new projects following iCarly's cancellation.

The news comes after Laci Mosley, who starred in the update of the beloved Nickelodeon series, posted “It’s canceled babes” on X (formerly Twitter) in response to a fan wondering about the show’s future.
“The series had a great three-season run and delivered on what fans really wanted to see with Carly and Freddie finally getting together.
We want to thank the entire cast, the writers, directors and producers along with the whole crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.”
Paramount+ debuted the iCarly sequel in 2021, following the now grown-up Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) and her friends as they deal with work, relationships and families as young adults.
Along with Cosgrove, Nathan Kress (Freddie) and Jerry Trainor (Spencer) reprised their roles from the 2007-12 Nick series, with Mosley and Jaidyn Triplett also in the regular cast.
Ali Schouten-Seeks served as showrunner on the series and executive produced with Phill Lewis and Cosgrove.
