Hello, I created this community has the previous one disappeared out of thin air(?). I have not ran a community before, but I assume it should be all good as most people looking for this type of community are rather down to earth. badumn tsss.

Anyways! Share your latest adventures, findings, tips or tricks!

Let's see if we can grow this community together <3

Edit; media uploads seem to be unavailable at the moment on this instance, so will have to wait with adding icon and banner for this community until that is back. This also means that if your account is on lemm.ee you need to upload pictures to a third party and then post the link in your post :)

Not a problem! I am quite new to foraging myself - but what better way to learn than to host and contribute :D

Welcome to the party. I definitely recommend checking this site:

Nice one! I thought about making a pinned post/list of apps and resources for this community, this is a good addition!

I use inaturalist. It generally works pretty well. If it doesn't get the right species, it will at least get the right genus or family. I will say that ot isn't really intended to just be used to identify things, you are supposed to tag things. If you identify something but don't post it, your number of tagged things goes down. I'm not sure if there's a penalty for going negative or something like that, but it's good to keep in kind that you should make sure you are contributing

I use PlantNet, I know some people use inaturalist, I don't know anything about that though. A person on my other post recommended shroomify. I hope that all helps.

Hello! Would it be ok if I shared some of my favorite recipes for foraged foods to this community?
