I'm not exactly sure what it is but I'm totally down for this ... can't recall last time a trailer made me want to automatically see the film.
I don't know the film maker but the trailer gave me pretty hard nostalgia vibes for 2000's era Kaufman stuff (Adaptation, being john malkovic etc) ... and I'm all in on that kind of film!
I want to see this movie right now!
Looks like a hoot! Agree with the other lemming in the comments — it’s strange to see Nick cage so subdued in a role, and I dig it.
He's great when subdued in my opinion! Adaptation comes to mind, and has similar vibes to this film too ... he's great at capturing a kind of haunted dread vibe, which is also just totally Cage.
I love Nicolas Cage so much! It's funny to see him so subdued, this looks like it'll be really good
I wasn't a Cage fan until Pig. The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent left me lukewarm, but I'm on board with any A24 production's
I’m no big Cage fan but Sick of Myself was a real surprise packet for me so I’m keen for this
