I agree these look like AKG to me. They immediately reminded me of my K271 headphones, though I got those at some point in the 2000s. Not sure what models were being made in the 80s. Is that when the photo is from?

Probably 1981. That's my brother in the pic. My dad just passed away, and I found this going through old photos.
