"The seas are rising and so are we!"

Good chant.

“Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

John F. Kennedy

Statistically almost all violent ones failed and only non violent are long lasting... Also you need at least 15% of the population to do either efficiently and since the climate idiots fucked up mostly the lower and middle class people so far thats not gonna happen any time soon. Climate change is a big problem but the way most of them protest is just ridiculous and achieves the opposite of what's wanted, not all publicity is good publicity.

You should look more into human history when you have time.

Bruh what? Do that yourself especially in the last 100 years almost no violent uprising lasted long and especially not when it had below 15% of the people on their side.

Did you not hear about revolutions and uprisings in history? History didn't just magically stop 100 years ago.

Good to know no that kingdoms were overthrown, though. You should really submit your proof to historians, though, I'm sure they would love to see it.

I don't think our conversation will go anywhere. Have a good one.

Protests are either inconvenient or ineffective.

I hope these protests work. Fossil fuel companies don't need more subsidies.

The protesters will block this same stretch of road every single day from now until fossil fuel subsidies are ended. Every day, for as long as necessary

It's mind blowing that our taxes line the pockets of the fossil fuel sociopaths destroying our planet

Looks like it's going to turn into a sex party.

Next time bring bubble soap and chase the cops with it.

I'm not sure if that is the right photo somehow, or these people are not so worried about the water cannon. The people in the front are wearing swimwear, and the people in the back seem to be cheering for it to go to them.

Generally water cannons hit so hard they knock people off their feet, or wake people atleast run away.

I was also curious and found that this is probably a different warning nozzle, one that creates mist especially just to wetten groups of people. It seems different nozzles can be used, stronger nozzles are used when people do not leave.

That's a double blow to the activists tomorrow they'll be protesting the use of fossil fuels AND the waste of fresh water in cannons
