Similar to low sodium cyberpunk and no mans high, this is a toxic free community to discuss the new Bethesda game, Starfield.

They are not wrong, first time I saw a BLT or Burger I was like damn that looks good. I wouldn't say it's "Worthless" but it does take some major eating for it to make a difference without the right skills.

I'd rather the food give a smaller, but much longer lasting bonus. Something that would last a whole exploration session and planet visit

I agree this is the ideal way to handle it. I’m sure mods will fix it but hopefully Bethesda does. I’m sure we got a plethora of updates and content coming in its future.

I hope we get a quick mod to fix the food. I picked the alien DNA trait and food does nothing. I don't even notice the healthbar moving.

I didn’t take the trait and same lol.

Yeah, as good as the sandwiches look, it seems like the most useful food is the food that provides temporary buffs, such as Barbacoa wraps (which provide damage resistance for 10 minutes), or Boom Pop! Dynamite (reload speed and movement speed up briefly).

Basically, it feels like the best food in the game can act like a cheaper and (perhaps) non-addictive alternative to chems (although if alcohol addiction is possible in the game, I wouldn’t be shocked)
