They never said the graphics were comparable to PS5/Xbox. People just assumed it was because it ran the Matrix demo, and they said it looked good.

Never never really was the best in graphical quality. But if the DLSS 3.5 part is real. It can definitely be way better than the Switch is now and more likely on par with Series S

What the heck does "graphics comparable" mean?

"I compared them, therefore they are comparable."

It’s got to better than the Switch. I heard it was more PS4 level though and not PS5.

It's just such a nebulous turn of phrase that could mean absolutely anything to anyone you ask.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Nintendo showed some developers the new console Switch 2 (behind closed doors) with The Matrix Awakens and a version with improved graphics of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

The Japanese company showed some developers its new console, the supposed Switch 2, which would be capable of running games with a level of detail similar to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S .

First it was the British division of Eurogamer who a few hours ago published this information that had been rumored for days: some developers have been able to see the new Nintendo machine, or at least a prototype of it.

Among those technical demos is a graphically enhanced version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the award-winning open-world adventure for Nintendo Switch and Wii U; media clarifies that it was only a demonstration and that there are no indications that the game starring Link will be republished.

The demo included “advanced” ray tracing and used Nvidia’s artificial intelligence upscaling technology, the well-known DLSS .

Previous information says that Nintendo plans to launch its new console at the end of 2024, although the Japanese company will try to bring it to stores as soon as possible.
