Ublock origin blocking images only from a specific instance (lemmy.ca)

This is a weird one.

I am subscribed to Risa@startrek.website When browsing on my phone I can see the thumbnails just fine. When browsing on my desktop ublock origin blocks the thumbnails and avatars, but only from the startrek.website instance, and only when I'm accessing it through Lemmy.ca

If I go directly to startrek.website I can view everything fine, and other instances I am not encountering this issue with. Any idea what might be the cause? I am using Firefox.

It's because of a filter on the Easylist blocklist. To fix the improper block without removing the entire list or rule:

go to the UBO settings (left click extension icon, then click the gears icon on bottom right)
Click my rules
Put this rule in the list on the right column
- * https://startrek.website/pictrs/image/ xmlhttprequest allow
Click save, then click commit to make it survive restarts.

Do you have any particular blocklists enabled besides the default ones? Try disabling them one by one until you find the culprit, then report a false positive to the list's maintainers.
