Looking forward to hearing about how that Starbucks location has shutdown. p.s. I don't go to Starbucks anymore. It's amazing how fast a company can ruin the brand they built up

None of the unionized Starbucks locations in Canada shut down after their union drive, although I get your concern, corporate can be sneaky!

I've heard about it happening in the U.S.

Aren't individual locations owned by private individuals - franchisees?

Most Starbucks locations aren't franchises and are directly owned by corporate

TBF, lots of other chains have a franchise model so it's easy to mix up

Is there a reason why?

I have a couple friends who work at Starbucks and they all like it and consider it a step up from other similar jobs
