I just saw that FMHY got some new frontends for their users (Alexandrite, mlmym and Voyager) and I was wondering if there are any plans on doing something similar? Right now I'm using the default Alexandrite instance to access Lemmy, but I'd feel a lot safer not having to share my credentials with a third-party hosted by god knows who.

That's one thing I miss from lemmy.world .

  • a.lemmy.world would open Alexandrite
  • p.lemmy.world would open Photon

Alternative frontends a nice addition to any instance.

Someone give me the relevant docker-compose blocks for each frontend to add to the lemmy deployment I do via ansible and I can try it out.

I would love to have Photon for this instance.

If I knew anything about docker I'd do it, but alas I know nothing about it. All I can do is ask to please consider it.
