Part of an art project called Good Movies as Old Books, there's many more on the website (plus the site it links to), Matt Stevens envisions some of his favourite films as old books.

Of the paperbacks, I like the Gattaca one, but the Alien one is good too.

These are absolutely gorgeous.

I love how many of them manage to capture the whole concept and theme of the work in just a single illustration.

Some of them capture it far too well, like if the book was real you couldn't even use that cover because it's an absolute spoiler, like Fight Club with the guy facing off against his own shadow.

Wow, these are incredible! I wish actual movie posters were designed more like this. So much meaning and flavor packed into them, they feel like representations of the movies rather than advertisements for them.

This guy's got great taste in films, I'll have to watch some of those that I haven't and then I get to enjoy the book cover.
