Have you watched a historical documentary series or film recently? Would you recommend it? Why or why not?

Recently started rewatching an old uk series called time team. Basically loads of quick short archeological digs, though the tech is a bit dated (geophysics was just available to them for the first series). Its on channel4.com though you might need to vpn to the UK.

As a teenager, it nearly swung me to studying archeology, would definitely recommend.

I'll definitely check it out! I majored in anthropology as an undergrad and did some graduate work in archeology, so this looks really interesting. I watched a lot of archeological documentaries when I was a teenager, too. In college, after my first intro to archeology class, I declared a major in anthropology with a concentration in archeology.
