"calls on scientists to seek God evidence before discrediting claims"

I want to believe as much as the next guy but how is this any different than that?

The burden is on you to provide proof that can hold up through scientific rigor. Asking scientists to prove something does not exist is religion.

I agree with that statement. However, I don't think that was the point Avi was making.

Avi is saying NDT should go get the evidence. That's not the job of peer review. I'm not championing Tyson nor am I demonizing him for being sceptical.

My apologies; he did mention that. He later said, "You just sit back and relax. Let the science be done the way it should be done." This is fresher in my mind. I interpreted that to mean, stop being so dismissive and simply wait for us to produce our peer-reviewed papers.

Practicing science is very different from talking about science. He's talking about science. I'm practicing science.

Avi Loeb on Neil deGrasse Tyson.

He has other valid criticisms for scientists who are skeptical and refuse to delve deeper into the UAP topic in this interview. I'm curious to see what NDT's response will be, if any.

If you want to get a taste of that, go watch the recent episode of TOE - Theories of Everything with NDT. Then watch the Adam Friedland show with him as a pallet cleanser because the first one might make you throw up a little bit in your mouth.

I've watched the ToE episode with him and appreciated how much Curt pushed back against what NDT was saying. However, I haven't seen the Adam Friedland show. Thanks for the recommendation; I'll check it out.
