I am judging you EXTREMELY hard for this font choice.
Jerboa
Jerboa is a native-android client for Lemmy, built using the native android framework, Jetpack Compose.
Warning: You can submit issues, but between Lemmy and lemmy-ui, I probably won't have too much time to work on them. Learn jetpack compose like I did if you want to help make this app better.

That font is OpenDyslexic and as its name implies it helps dyslexic people with reading. I use it myself for reading ebooks without being dyslexic but it still makes it more comfortable to read longer texts.
Gotta be a better looking way. That's so ugly.
The thing that makes it ugly (a lack of consistent geometry and inconsistent line weights) is exactly what makes it harder for someone's brain to swap or misinterpret letters. I love pretty fonts and pretty UI, but if I had to pick between a pretty UI and being able to read, it's not exactly a hard choice. Gimme the ugly thing that helps my brain actually read 🤷♂️
You don't really notice it anymore after using it for some time
Comic sans (serioisly)
🤣 you're entitled to your opinion. I like it just fine though 🤷♂️
I was terrified when I saw this post. I thought my fonts suddenly changed 😅
🤣 sorry for the scare!
