Summary

Elon Musk and longtime Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn had a heated argument at Mar-a-Lago, reportedly over Musk accusing Epshteyn of leaking Trump’s cabinet picks.

The clash reflects growing tensions between the two during Trump’s transition process.

Musk, a major donor, has been advocating for Howard Lutnick as Treasury secretary, while Epshteyn has been heavily involved in Trump’s appointments, including backing Matt Gaetz for attorney general.

The conflict has reportedly annoyed Trump and other aides, with concerns about favoritism and the direction of key economic policies.

how long until they come up with a reality tv show about the daily lives of everyone in trumps orbit? there’s already enough drama for at least a few seasons

"Boris Epshteyn" sounds like somebody the Onion would make up as a Trump advisor. You know, because he is a Russian asset and was best buddies with Jeffrey Epstein. Boris Epstein, the Russian handler and pedo supplier, longtime "advisor" of Trump. Yep.

The aliens running the simulation are seeing how dumb they can make things before we think it's funny.

Man, it would be so cool if these cunts killed each other.

[–] CitizenKong@lemmy.world 18 points 11 hours ago

Musk is a coward, see the whole Zuckerberg thing.

How long do you think it'll take these old wrinkled ball sacks to slap fight each other to death?

[–] AbouBenAdhem@lemmy.world 55 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

So who leaked the fight about the leaks?

[–] Nougat@fedia.io 40 points 15 hours ago

Is the subtext here that they already can't stop this shit from getting to the public?

Foreign countries realize that the easiest way to get inside info on the inner workings of the Trump Whitehouse is to stage a spy at Mar-a-Lago. It looks like the media has caught on.

I wonder if Trump will now get super paranoid about his one safe space....

Trump reportedly pits everyone against eachother all the time. He probably loves this.

[–] shalafi@lemmy.world 15 points 13 hours ago

Hitler did the same. Didn't work out so hot for him.

“Where is shitter?”

[–] Theprogressivist@lemmy.world 16 points 15 hours ago

Probably not. The dipshit loves bragging about everything.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if they were able to crater the entire operation before he even takes office?

What would that do to measuring in Scaramuccis, if his entire slate is fired months before he can officially hire them?

[–] Zier@fedia.io 12 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

-4 Scaramuccis. Or we could use his nickname for the negative numbers, -4 Mooches.

[–] ptz@dubvee.org 8 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago)

For our British friends using the metric system, that's -1 Truss

Conversion: 1 Truss (44 days) = 4 Mooches (4 x 11 days)

The only good thing about the Trump administration is the entertainment that will be provided by the hyaenas constantly being at each others' throats.

[–] oakey66@lemmy.world 6 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Musk goes all in on 2026 mid terms and the 2028 presidential elections for the libertarian party.

[–] 46_and_2@lemmy.world 6 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Isn't he inelligible for president? Not that they can't change that now...

[–] oakey66@lemmy.world 5 points 13 hours ago

I meant funding them but I guess that's also a possibility.

[–] tabarnaski@sh.itjust.works 3 points 14 hours ago

If this kind of thing keeps happening too often, I expect people to start falling from windows.
