Man I played a lot on that map. Just a ridiculous amount of hours. Did it have a name? Opposing Worlds?

Facing worlds.
I still listen to the unreal and unreal tournament soundtracks to this day.
Right! Thank you.
Yeah, those games were something special.
This game is the reason my eyes and vestibular systems are disconnected.
Like, serious question: did anyone ever have to pay for it? I just remember having it, I thought it was a demo game for the Unreal engine and was free to play/came pre installed on other games.
Yes, I bought all of the Unreal games. However a lot of people got them bundled with new graphics cards also.
I distinctly remember buying both unreal and unreal tournament from GoG on sale when it was still listed there. So yeah, people did buy those.
Instagib <3
Unreal was one of my favorite to multiplayer because the setting felt fun to explore with my friend, even if they stripped some of the story out. I'm glad it's available in all it's glory.
Even before reading the article I started to hear the sounds of UT99 gameplay and have chills.
