I guess the positive ray of sunshine here is that all of his picks are wildly incompetent and don't understand the position nor the laws that govern it.
Problem is, if nobody holds them accountable to the law, they might as well not exist. The Republicans have made a point of ignoring the law for Republicans.
I guess when he said "drain the swamp", he never really stated what kind of liquid it would be replaced with.

I'd always thought there was a pretty good extended metaphor in there comparing him to a gator looking to scoop up some easy fish, or paving it over and putting in a strip mall, etc, so I'm honestly a little disappointed that it's just going to be filled with toxic waste instead.
Surely they won't let him do anything until he signs his ethics/conflict of interest paperwork, right?
