Paid for overpriced computers, got delivered by cheap courier - think different.

But proof of delivery was relaxed during the pandemic.
If I understand correctly, in the North America they always deliver to the doors.

My MacBook was delivered to the driveway. Glad I had cameras and ran outside right away.
