Oh I can tell you who's out. Way the fuck out before the end of January and probably not coming back in the foreseeable future:

I am doing my best too, but my two youngest kids are now over 18 and I am unsure how we can bring them with us. Plus I own my own business and have a lot of inventory to unload so we have the capital to get out of town.

I wish we had not been complacent for the last 4 years and had spent that time getting ready for today,

Yeah, it's going to be a lot of work, but I have a leg up because I'm a dual US/UK citizen. But we'll still have to sell the house, get us and the dogs over there, find a new place to live, find work...

My wife works for a company that has offices in multiple EU countries and was authorized to work from any of them. But we also have the house to sell (which is a double wide mobile home not on a permanent foundation so it will be very difficult to sell), and animals to move too. Best of luck to you and your family.

One upside with the UK is that the dogs don't have to be in quarantine when we bring them over.

Sad, right after that library was built. But these are the real consequences of fascism

Yep. And we have been talking about it on and off for a while, especially back when Biden was still running. But life has to go on until we're ready to go.

Anyone who opposed him, and especially those who have/had a lawsuit against him, are now in the crosshairs.

Literal crosshairs.

RFK: "We’ve gotta get off of seed oils, we’ve gotta get off of pesticide-intensive agriculture—we need to make that transition to regenerate agriculture"

Not going to lie, I hope he's being honest. That's not 100% bad stuff

[–] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 week ago (1 children)

That is 100% bad stuff. He's a quack who buys all kinds of bs.

[–] Asafum@feddit.nl 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Seed oils are not the greatest thing to have in so many foods and while not pesticide, I hope they do something about Monsantos Roundup.

But those affect billionaires so I seriously doubt he'll be allowed to do anything like that.

Regenerative agriculture should involve not having monocultures everywhere and that should improve soil conditions so that could be a positive. Again not really holding out any hope though as those things cost more than typical mass profit mass production.

Roundup is safe and fine.

Jesus - we're going to get both the maga and the liberal stupid..
