I'd make it unlawful for any entity including the U.S. gov't to profit from the suffering of others. This would, of course, immediately crash the economy. Suffering is our leading export.

War would be an exclusively defensive prospect. Truly defensive. Like attack our shit first. No more strategic bullshit "in American interests"

Probably not the most pressing issue but Civil Asset Forfeiture is one of the most egregious rights violations that is not only legal when used but extremely lopsided in its fairness against those who have effectively been robbed by the police.

The government should never be allowed to consist of extremely stupid people.
