Yeah, it seems to be an astute and honest assessment of the situation. It’s rare for even a major and innovative company to ever come close to the iPhone’s profitability. Accepting that that one success should be seen as an outlier in its magnitude is better for everyone.
It doesn't mean they won't be more profitable though...just means the hardware isn't going to be as profitable.
99% chance you will need to subscribe monthly to ios depending on how many searches and bullshit you do. I bet they will roll out the lmm credit model and recoup that way making even more
They got that covered ages ago with iCloud pricing.
