So yeah. Spending a lot of thoughts turning my phone to GrapheneOS. The only thing that really matters is my banking app. Is there a way to check if it works on Graphene?

I made the switch to GrapheneOS about 2 weeks ago and used this website for reference.

Although I couldn't find my bank in the list, I found it worked fine anyway after install.

Lol, right on. Found my bank on the list. So gotta dig into Graphene on the weekend. Thanks!

Been on grapheneos for coming up on 2 weeks. Works just as expected. Even with some Google apps brought back in ..

I have yet to find an app that doesn't work on graphene. Enjoy it bc it's 😎.

Nice to hear actually!

I went off from Apple to google to have more possibilities. But the more I dig into Google and stuff, I actually want to get off Android too and I'm somewhat annoyed that these two are the ruling class.

Yeah graphene is for you

I am the same, I was forced to have an iPhone for two years, and now I got an Android after being sick of iOS restrictedness. But I want to root my phone and install a degoogled ROM, but I can't even install a custom bootloader on my midrange Motorola, it just isn't supported. I don't want to have to spend £600 on a phone to be able to root it.

If you don't want to spend on a Pixel for GrapheneOS, have you considered CalyxOS or LineageOS? CalyxOS only supports a few devices outside of the Pixel range, while LineageOS covers a broader range.

I can't vouch for them personally, as I haven't used them, but I've heard good things about them.

I've looked at both of them, but neither of them support my specific device. I didn't know I had to degoogle it before I bought my phone, so I just concentrated on other charectiristics. My next phone I'll make sure I can root and properly degoogle.

I've had a couple that didn't at first but enabling the compatibility setting fixed them.

Proprietary apps work well on other profiles (users). Including banking apps.

Plus, that way you can even root your device, if you want to do so.

- Use Shelter.

- Use the built-in option. System > Multiple users.
