President Volodymyr Zelensky asked for Tomahawk missiles from the U.S. as part of the "non-nuclear deterrence package" in his victory plan, the New York Times reported on Oct. 29, citing undisclosed U.S. officials.

Zelensky’s victory plan comprises five points with three classified parts. The third point refers to non-nuclear deterrence, a part of which is classified.

Ukraine is proposing a "comprehensive non-nuclear strategic deterrence package on its territory" that would safeguard the country against future aggression, a part of which would consist of receiving Tomahawk missiles, according to the Times’ report

Tomahawk missiles have a range of more than 2,400 kilometers (1,500 miles), seven times the range of the long-range missile systems called ATACMS that Ukraine received from the U.S.

Finally! Tomahawks are being brought to the table. Give them frigates loaded with tomahawks.

Let Ukraine strike as far into Russia as possible to neutralize military targets.

I have hope that Harris will fire the whole of Biden’s foreign policy team and arm Ukraine to win the war.

It is remarkable to me that Sullivan and the like saw Ukraine with all its fight and defensive war and was like “that isn’t a winnable war, let’s just give them dregs.” All while the same assholes spent years and billions on boondoggles like Afghanistan where the people we were “helping” had no desire to resist.

From where I’m standing, it looks like Biden’s brain trust is stuck in the ossified “Russia scary” worldview.

They’re really just not a credible threat at this point.

Right, the fact that the Russians are struggling in Ukraine proves the point. They are listening to the same assholes that said it was credible that Russia would win in 3 days because they had modern military capable of combined arms warfare.
