Not precisely a CEO, but I'm going to nominate Bob Moore, founder of Bob's Red Mill along with his wife Charlee. They built up a grain business that ships around the US, Canada, and a few other countries. If you eat gluten free in those regions, you are probably already familiar. Then 10 years ago, despite offers to sell, he instead transferred ownership to his employees.

Don't forget the late Satoru Iwata of Nintendo.
I guess AMD's CEO Lisa Su also. This was a dumb meme :D
Eh... I don't hate him. But Valve could do a lot more right with the ridiculous amounts of money they receive from gamers. The Steam client is more and more a mess. It's a ressource hog and runs badly more and more. The video streaming is broken most of the time.
Is it better than the Epic store? Of course. But... yeah. That's not really a good measure.
Valve is doing a lot of good things, for example with their Linux support, or the way they handle refunds. But then again, they were forced by the market and laws to do these things. I'm not sure if both would exist without the moves of Microsoft or European laws.
Still, the dude seems nice and friendly, and kinda down to earth. I like that.
Oh he's hated pretty much, go to any gamer space and start discussion about the Epic Store.

I'm lost on that... I mean steam is kind of almost everyone's example of a store done right. Hell valve single handedly gets credit for basically making linux gaming viable today. Meanwhile epic can be credited for literally doing the opposite (IE making rocket league DROP linux support).
Now in valid criticism of valve, I could say they certainly deserve some blame for basically creating a ton of IPs, and then sitting on them for years, while basically letting steam print money for them (Why make a game when you can get a cut from every game ever sold).
So yeah I can fully see valve getting some blame for well basically not pushing forward on making... well (insert any valve game, 3)
It's getting quieter lately, the main point of contention was for the steam the 30% markup on games while Epic was supposed to have less of it, and for Epic the exclusives which were sometimes really shameless like buying out already crowdfunded games from kickstarter. Both things went ultimately for the steam - there are less exlusives now and the markups are really funny - Epic was supposed to have less markup for developers, not the customers, which idk if it's even true and nerds failed to notice the difference, which led to a lot of butthurt when games at Epic are actually on average more expensive than on Steam. There are also the freebies at Epic, but honestly they are 90% complete trash not even worth the few click to get it.
Room should be empty
who is that?
Valve's Gabe Newell.
