(But I hope they figure it out Mahershala Ali is fucking amazing and I want to see him in character.)

Yeah it’s been in development hell for a while.

Better they sit on the idea and come back to it later than try to rush it.

Someone else had this idea and I think it’s a good one: set it during the snap. Vampires weren’t snapped because they’re already dead. Maybe Blade’s been more casual about his vampire hunting since his initial outing because they’re mostly in hiding. This leads to the vampires becoming more brazen, leading to a big Blade adventure.

It would be a great way to show us life during the snap too.

I would love a show set during the snap. We got a few hints of it in Endgame and got to explore it a little bit in Hawkeye (TV series), but that's about it.

Maybe we'll get something during Daredevil to help explain Kingpin's rise.

Yeah I hope so! Snap-life is a glaring omission in the MCU.
