You spoiled to me that there's an ending to space age lol

[–] Sibbo@sopuli.xyz 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I'm very sorry. I'm actually not sure if there is any ending, I just know what was written in the FFFs.

[–] MrWafflesNBacon@lemmy.world 2 points 2 weeks ago

Eh it's ok haha

The true ending is when the factory grows to the entire size of the universe

[–] empireOfLove2@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

There is no end, there is only factory

[–] neidu2@feddit.nl 4 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

An end implies that the factory cannot grow any further. Preposterous!

Not that iam even close to the ending. But some day we of course should be able to talk about it. But what is the embargo time? A month? 6 months? 12 months?

The engineer wakes up and it was all a dream.
And he was dead all along.
And he plunges into the lava while giving a thumbs up.
And he's Keyser Soze.
And he's actually a she.

I still haven’t seen an answer to the question whether it’s possible to play without enemies.

[–] AsslessChaps@lemmynsfw.com 10 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You can play in peaceful mode. You can also have no enemies at all if you wish.

It's an option when setting up a new game.

Thanks for the screenshot

Afaik there is nothing to disable enemies completely, but you can play on peaceful as always.

It's an option when setting up a new game. See my screen shot on the parent comment for details.

It is. I want to play the game as the devs intended, but I usually play without biters. So I turned nauvis enemies off while leaving them as default for the other planets.

[–] Gnomie@lemmy.world 1 points 2 weeks ago

Great that it’s selectable at the planet level. Thanks for the answer

Then I suggest that you don't look at achievements.

It might also be dangerous to browse research tree, but it isn't based on anything specific, as I didn't do so myself. Yet.
