“Daniel Shuminov was suspended from his duties as a guide and audience coordinator at the Historical Museum of Frankfurt without explanation due to his role as a spokesperson for the Palestine Camp “Hind’s Garden” at Goethe University Frankfurt. The protest camp “Hind’s Garden,” which took place from May 20 to May 26, 2024, was organized in response to the ongoing escalation in the Gaza Strip, where tens of thousands of people have been killed or wounded. The camp highlighted the deliberate destruction of all educational institutions in Gaza and the systematic oppression of the Palestinian population—a space for discourse that educational institutions in #Frankfurt had not adequately allowed…”
